MVP: Josh Allen Asked Khalil Shakir In The Huddle If He Wanted A Rushing Or Receiving Touchdown, Changed The Play To Whatever Shakir Wanted

There's a scene in White Men Can't Jump where Billy Hoyle is talking about being in the zone. If you don't know that movie (watch it), here's the clip:

That's basically Josh Allen this year. Dude started the year being voted the most overrated player in the league, showing people are dumb.

Perhaps even dumber, people thought the Bills window was closed and they would fail this year because they lost Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. Not Gabe Davis! How do you ever replace Gabe Davis! All that's happened is Josh Allen is having the best season of his career, cut down turnovers and is the favorite to win MVP. He's already had the coolest play of the season:

Then in one of the most anticipated games of the regular season he put up a 23/34 for 362, 2 touchdowns and 68 rushing yards for another 2 touchdowns. Not bad! It's why he can change the play in the huddle. I love this. Ask your guy if he wants a receiving touchdown or rushing touchdown. It's not much, you're talking about a little pitch that counts as a pass. Shakir wanted his stat to be that, so he got it. That's why Josh Allen is MVP. He's got the entire team buying in and doing cool shit, like this, which 100% should have counted:

Dude is rolling right now. Not to mention he got engaged to Hailee Steinfeld. Have a year.
